A FATHER"S DAY PRAYER
Lord God of Heaven, we pray for fathers everywhere. May fathers follow the example of Abraham who believed that God would fulfill his promises. Like Abraham, may today's fathers be worthy to be called "friends of God." Please draw all men unto yourself to seek your face and to keep your commandments. May they rise to the calling to be protectors of, providers for, and strong and loving teachers of the sons and daughters you have blessed them with. May they cherish their "treasures in trust" and pass on to them their Christian faith and values. We make these requests in Jesus name.
